Privacy

WikiPep is a reading site. You don’t make an account, there are no forms, and we never ask for your name, email or anything about your health.

What we collect

How the site is used, through Microsoft Clarity (below). Nothing that identifies you by name. The calculator does its math in your browser.

Services that see your visit

  • Microsoft Clarity. We use Clarity to see how people use the site, so we can make it clearer. It records clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement and the pages visited, including what is typed into the search box and the calculator, and shows them to us as heatmaps and session replays. It sets cookies to recognise a returning browser and sees your IP address, browser and device. WikiPep has no accounts or forms and never asks for your name, email or health information, so the recordings hold none. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are recorded in a limited mode with no cookies. A tracker blocker stops Clarity entirely. Microsoft’s privacy statement covers how Microsoft handles the data.
  • Hosting. Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) to run and protect it.
  • Fonts. Our typefaces are stored on our own site, so no font service sees your visit.
  • Links out. Links to PepSelect and Amazon take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies. They can tell you came from WikiPep, and may use cookies to record that for commission purposes.

If this changes

If we add anything else that collects data, this page will say what and why before it goes live.
